Words from 3.22.19 because I needed the reminder. 🌹 Stages of Self-Growth: - Recognizing certain ways of being are no longer serving you. - Doing the inner work to transform that part of your identity, change your beliefs, and redesign your programming. - Embodying the lesson and becoming the new expanded version of you. The arrival of spring has me feeling the growing pains. I rinse and repeat this cycle over and over again, as we all do in some form or another, but I always get hung up on the last rung - embodying the lesson and stepping into the new expanded version of myself. That's when the resistance creeps in. Right when I think I've done the work and I'm ready to move through the world as that new version of myself all of the fears creep in. The critic rears loudly and all of those doubts come washing over me like the rainfall this season notoriously brings. That old narrative reminds me that it's not forgotten. It's still there holding its position strong out of habit and familiarity, but mostly, out of safety. Keeping me small. That tune is played out though. Playing small is no longer an option. Remind that narrative that it served you at one time in your life but that was the old you, a previous you. The new you is greater, more whole, more expanded. The world is ready for the new you, you just have to embody it. This is a new season of you.

Stages of Self-Growth:
- Recognizing certain ways of being are no longer serving you.

Life by Design was born out of a need for my own self-healing after decades of unresolved illness. It wasn’t until finding the courage to look within that I discovered it was my own belief system holding me back from experiencing a truly thriving life. We all have access to that thriving life. We just need to rediscover our power and ignite the healing-self. Only then can we unapologetically live a life by our own design.
