"Shedding and shifting. Loving and losing. Blooming and wilting. Hurting and healing. Learning and unlearning. We need it all to discern and discover." - Alex Elle Sunday night, after a whirlwind of travel and a week of burying myself in work, I found some space to process at @gwencoach 's full moon circle. Like clockwork, the phases of the moon consistently confirm what I already know. This time, as the full moon moved into Pisces it ushered in a time to leave the ego behind and align with your true spiritual self. As Gwen read the details of this phase my heart nodded in agreement. It explained that the ego functions from past traumas and pain. Patterns buried deep within us that we've been running for years, on autopilot, that aren't serving us anymore. Often, these patterns hold us back from all of the beautiful possibilities life affords. This phase is a call to release those old patterns of behavior and step into a new version of yourself. It's a call to do things differently. In order to do things differently, I talked about my intentions out loud at the circle, I burned some shit, I tapped into my intuition during breathwork, and I released the best way I know how - by writing about it. Externalizing it. But my ego isn’t going quietly, so I’m sitting on it one more day before I publish it to the blog. Then, I plan on getting out there in the world and rewriting those patterns. Doing the work. Staying true to a life by my own design.

Sunday night, after a whirlwind of travel and a week of burying myself in work, I found some space to process at @gwencoach's full moon circle.

Life by Design was born out of a need for my own self-healing after decades of unresolved illness. It wasn’t until finding the courage to look within that I discovered it was my own belief system holding me back from experiencing a truly thriving life. We all have access to that thriving life. We just need to rediscover our power and ignite the healing-self. Only then can we unapologetically live a life by our own design.
