I was talking to my twin brother on the phone last night. Often in our convos, we like to playfully use the phrase "It's not that deep" to catch each other when we're overanalyzing or making something out to be more serious than it is. But during that discussion, I had a few moments where I thought about this community and my vision as a whole.
As a result, I just want to take a moment to acknowledge how strong this community (and for that; humanity) really is. It never ceases to amaze me.
I save every single one of your personal messages filled with stories of heartbreak, struggle, and triumph to a folder on my desktop called "Messages - Your Why" and refer back to it often. Especially, when I need to refuel, stop sweating the small stuff, and remind myself why I started Life by Design in the first place.
It's not about the followers or the double taps. It never was and it never will be. It's about igniting the healer within each one of us by befriending our emotions and our stories. It's about bringing awareness to the truth that our minds, brains, bodies, and souls are all intricately intertwined. And the understanding that when one is hurting; the others are too. Because like humanity, it all works as a unified system. One system that's stronger than we ever imagined, able to break over and over again and not only live but thrive. This time, it's that deep.
Life by Design was born out of a need for my own self-healing after decades of unresolved illness. It wasn’t until finding the courage to look within that I discovered it was my own belief system holding me back from experiencing a truly thriving life. We all have access to that thriving life. We just need to rediscover our power and ignite the healing-self. Only then can we unapologetically live a life by our own design.
